Chinese Body Scanners that uses Anti-Scattering X-ray radiation

The state-run Xinhua News Agency reported late Thursday, citing an executive at the product’s manufacturer.
The Chinese have done it again. Copying Americas Ideas, while endangering our safety.

The scanner can automatically delete personal information when it completes its task, the report said, citing Jia Zhong, general manager of Tianjin Chongfang Science &Technology Company.
Full-body scanners deployed in airports have proven a lightning rod with certain sections of the traveling public in the U.S. since the machines can see through people’s clothes. The devices have also come under fire over concerns about radiation exposure.
The Chinese scanner has also solved the radiation issue, according to Xinhua. **Not true. They still use X-ray.** The X-ray radiation the device emits is “negligible,”(Bull Shit) the news agency said, equal to one-thirty-sixth of the radiation a airline passenger is exposed to when flying from Beijing to Shanghai.

Would you trust Chinese X-ray when it comes to your health? When is X-Ray good for the body?
The Chinese body scanner “uses an anti-scattering X-ray mechanism to detect nonmetal objects such as ceramic knives, explosives, drugs, plastic weapons and liquid bombs,” Xinhua said.
The report didn’t say whether China’s government is explicitly backing the project, but it said the body scanner has “independent intellectual property rights” and its maker plans to deploy 1,000 units each year in a variety of venues including airports, railway stations and customs crossings. Xinhua said a group made mostly of experts from Beijing’s elite Tsinghua University developed the body scanner, which was exhibited at a seminar in southern China’s Guangdong province this week.
This isn’t the first time Chinese scanners have made headlines. In 2009, Chinese censors blocked online search results and websites mentioning Namibia after anti-corruption officials in the African country began scrutinizing Nuctech Co., a Chinese company linked to the son of Chinese President Hu Jintao that had sold cargo scanners to its customs agency. Hu’s son Hu Haifeng wasn’t a suspect, but he was questioned as a witness.
The Chinese public’s relatively resigned attitude towards government monitoring may help the new body scanners avoid the public-relations disaster that accompanied the unveiling of their U.S. counterparts. There’s no guarantee, however, that new technology will experience commercial success, even with the benefit of government support.
New scanners at the airport will leave you with nothing to hide.

The American company, Rapiscan Systems also makes a Back-Scatter body scanner that is TSA approved, However It still uses X-ray. The radiation exposure in perspective. According to TSA, the amount of radiation you're exposed to during a two-second millimeter-wave scan exposes you to radio-wave radiation that is 10,000 times less powerful than radiation levels that pulse from a cellphone. A backscatter scan exposes you to the same amount of radiation you would experience during two minutes of a cross-country or ocean plane flight, thanks to cosmic radiation in the atmosphere. According to the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurement (NCRP), a traveler subjected to at least 2,500 backscatter scans a year would barely reach the Negligible Individual Dose. In same report, NCRP found that a traveler subjected to at least 2,500 backscatter scans per year would barely reach the Negligible Individual Dose.

The millimeter-wave scanning is the safest for people. L3 an American company, has took the body scanners to the next level.  They produce the safest body scanners with NO X-Ray. Currently, there are 200 millimeter-wave scanning machines already in use in 50 U.S. airports. They are used as either the primary screening machines that passengers walk through, or more commonly, for secondary or random screenings. The other type of body scanning that has been tested by TSA uses backscatter technology, which does produce small amounts of ionizing radiation by using extremely weak X-rays. After testing them in a pilot program, the administration has 150 of these machines on order, and they will be deployed to U.S. airports in the coming months.

CEO David Siegel Say's He May Fire You if Obama Wins

David Siegel, the owner of Westgate Resorts, sent a surprising email to his employees Monday.
David SiegelIt said that if President Barack Obama wins re-election and raises Siegel's taxes, he will have to lay off workers and downsize his company - or even shut it down.
"If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company," he wrote. "Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back. This means fewer jobs, less benefits and certainly less opportunity for everyone."
In a version of Romney's "47 percent" remarks, Siegel added that "people like me who made all the right decisions and invested in themselves are being forced to bail out all the people who didn't. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed 42 years of my life for."

He sent an e-mail to all 7,000 employees of privately-held Westgate Resorts, many of them in the battleground state of Florida, warning them their jobs are at risk if the president is re-electe

Well, David Siegel, Why would make  a statement like that? How about raising your rates to make up for the taxes. Or even take a pay cut.  David Siegel is a Piece of Shit. if you make the decision to cut people from your workforce If Obama wins the re-election. Then you are  a piece of shit. Many people relay on there jobs in order to support there family.  There are many other choices to make rather then reduction of people.  If you were a true CEO. You would see that Obama would only help this country.
Siegel put together the email sent to his employees based on a template to gain sympathy from his workers yet warn them.
Westgate Resorts owner and billionaire David Siegel recently sent the email  below to all his employees to urge them to vote for Mitt Romney or they might lose their jobs if Obama is re-elected.  Siegel, 74, pictured with his wife Jacqueline, 43, were affected by the dwindling economy from 2008 and it put a halt on the construction of what would have been the largest house, Versailles, in the US.  It has finally resumed construction as Siegel expressed that Westgate Resrots is "the most profitable we've ever been."

Some of the email copied from Gawker is posted below:

"To All My Valued Employees,
As most of you know our company, Westgate Resorts, has continued to succeed in spite of a very dismal economy... The economy doesn't currently pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is another 4 years of the same Presidential administration. Of course, as your employer, I can't tell you whom to vote for, and I certainly wouldn't interfere with your right to vote for whomever you choose...
I started this company over 42 years ago. At that time, I lived in a very modest home. I converted my garage into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you. We didn't eat in fancy restaurants or take expensive vacations because every dollar I made went back into this company... Even to this day, every dime I earn goes back into this company. Over the past four years, I have had to stop building my dream house, cut back on all of my expenses, and take my kids out of private schools simply to keep this company strong and to keep you employed.

Just think about this - most of you arrive at work in the morning and leave that afternoon and the rest of your time is yours to do as you please. But not me -- there is no "off" button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have that freedom.
Obviously, our present government believes that taking my money is the right economic stimulus for this country. The fact is, if I deducted 50% of your paycheck you'd quit and you wouldn't work here. I mean, why should you? Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, that's what happens to me.

It's quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company. Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back.

So, when you make your decision to vote, ask yourself, which candidate understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn't?
Whose policies will endanger your job?
You see, I can no longer support a system that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, so will your opportunities. If that happens, you can find me in the Caribbean sitting on the beach, under a palm tree, retired, and with no employees to worry about.

Signed, your boss,
David Siegel

Innocence of Muslims, the Movie

Innocence of Muslims is a low-budget film, which portrays Islam's Prophet Muhammad as a fraud, a womanizer and a child molester. The Muslims hate this film because it makes fun of there religion. After watching this movie that is under  15min long. I now realize  how stupid Muslims are. This movie is just plane out stupid. I would like to also mention that  The United States of America is a Free Country.   The film producers have the right to produce what ever they feel like. because they live in a free country. If this film offends Muslims. Then do not watch it. No body is forcing people to see this film. I am also sure that there are films about Christ and Buddha. You don't see Americans or the Chinese creating riots of anti Christ films.  As far as the violence around the world about this move. It needs to stop. . Muslims like to fight over every little thing they can. They have been killing each other for Thousands of years.  Now they have this film to be Anti American. Next it will be Obama winning the election.  I say we just send in the US Marines and  eliminate any threat to our U.S. Embassies and Consulates.

P0456 - Evaporative Emissions System - Small leak detected - Dodge Truck

What does that mean?

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) at different times performs various tests on the EVAP system. OBD II Enhanced EVAP systems are in place to keep fuel tank vapors from venting into the atmosphere, and instead purges them into the engine to be burned. Regular pressure tests are conducted by the PCM to monitor the sealed system for leaks. The PCM monitors the EVAP system pressure by watching the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor. When the sensor indicates a small leak in the EVAP system, this code is set.

Potential Symptoms

There will likely be no noticeable symptoms other than the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). This is because the EVAP system is a closed system and only controls fuel tank vapors, not engine management.

Causes

Usually this P0456 code is caused by an incorrect or faulty gas cap. Filling the fuel tank with the engine running could conceivable cause this code as well or if the cap wasn't properly tightened. Any of the following could also be the cause:
  • A small leak in any of the EVAP hoses or fuel tank hoses
  • A small leak in the purge valve or vent valve
  • The EVAP Canister may be leaking

Possible Solutions

First, using a scan tool activate the vent solenoid, sealing the system. Then monitor the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor. If the system is sealing properly, the number will stay consistent. If is isn't, the pressure sensor will show that as well. If the system slowly leaks, use a smoke machine and watch for smoke exiting the system at any EVAP component. Any where there is smoke exiting the system, that is the faulty component. Do not pressurize the EVAP system with air pressure. Doing so can damage the purge and vent solenoids in the system.

  • Connect the scan tool to the Ford's diagnostic port, located next to the steering column under the driver's side of the dashboard. The port will have a small cover over it with the letters "DTC" embossed on the face of the cover. Pull that cover off to access the port. You can purchase a scan tool at your neighborhood auto parts store. Make sure the scan tool you are interested in buying works with Ford vehicles.
  •
Run a self test on the system by following the directions in your scan tools specific owner's manual. When the codes are read, make sure the P0456 is the only code present before erasing the codes. If another code is present, you will need to have it diagnosed and corrected before you clear the codes.
  •
Erase the code when prompted to do so by the scan tool. Complete the self test and disconnect the scan tool. Replace the diagnostic port cover.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you pull a P0456 when reading codes, the first thing you should do is make sure your gas cap is on securely. If it isn't, tighten it down properly and clear the code out. If the light returns within the next hundred miles of driving, you should have the code diagnosed by a certified driveability technician.
  • Never leave your engine running when filling your tank. This can cause the power train control module to assume it is detecting any of several malfunctions due to the lost pressure in the fuel vapor system and the upward mobility of the fuel level sensor.
  • Additionally, never top off the gas tank after the station's pump clicks off. The additional gas you pump in can flow into the evaporative fuel system and cause damage which will cost you far more than the price of a tank of gasoline to repair.
