Audio Linx, Saint Petersburg, FL

Audio Linx Inc. Review. "Bad" I went to Audio Linx to get a car alarm installed.  What a Joke.  I have been pricing car alarms and when I came across an ad in a coupon book, a car alarm for $89.00. I thought it was a good deal.  Boy was I wrong.
They don't tell you about the $100 installation fee. Any ways, I still needed an alarm installed. So, I went ahead and had it installed. What I didn't know it it was only a 2 wire car alarm. The cheapest on the market. When they were installing the alarm, the technician had my all my wires under the steering wheel exposed. It really looked like he was taping into the OEM wiring system of my truck.  It took him nearly 2 hours to install 2 wires.1 red 12vDC consent hot and 1 black ground. At the time I did not know it was only a 2 wire alarm system. After getting home. I looked at the alarm and only saw 2 wires. Red and black.

Be-ware of Audio Linx, St.Pete, FL. After speaking with the owners son "Chuck" after the technician had trouble getting the alarm system to work right. I was thinking that a responsible manager would take action. But the TV had his interest.  It was horrible customer service.  Being the owners son, he couldn't make a decision.  I don't understand the trouble of hooking up 2 wires.  What would happen if I had purchased a more advanced car alarm. It is a scary thought.  If he had so much trouble with a simple alarm, what would happen with a more expensive ans complex alarm. After waiting almost 2 hours, They finally got it to work.

But this is not the end. I also need my car window to be fixed. The time now is around 6pm. Instead of staying late to earn my business. They told me to come back another day. What business man in there right mind says. "Come back, we are closing." Yea right. I am glad I have not paid for the window repair. I would rather write this nasty post of a true story.

Audio Linx Review.  Thumbs Down.  It is true. "You get what you pay for."

Stand-your-ground law

stand-your-ground law states that a person may use force in self-defense when there is reasonable belief of a threat, without an obligation to retreat first. In some cases, a person may use deadly force in public areas without a duty to retreat. Under these legal concepts, a person is justified in using deadly force in certain situations and the "stand your ground" law would be a defense or immunity to criminal charges and civil suit. The difference between immunity and a defense is that an immunity bars suit, charges, detention and arrest. A defense permits a plaintiff or the state to seek civil damages or a criminal conviction. More than half of the states in the United States have adopted the Castle doctrine, stating that a person has no duty to retreat when their home is attacked. Some states go a step further, removing the duty of retreat from any location. "Stand Your Ground", "Line In The Sand" or "No Duty To Retreat" laws thus state that a person has no duty or other requirement to abandon a place in which he has a right to be, or to give up ground to an assailant. Under such laws, there is no duty to retreat from anywhere the defender may legally be. Other restrictions may still exist; when in public, a person must be carrying the firearm in a legal manner, whether concealed or openly.
"Stand your ground" governs U.S. federal case law in which self-defense is asserted against a charge of criminal homicide. The Supreme Court ruled in Beard v. U.S. (158 U.S. 550 (1895)) that a man who was "on his premises" when he came under attack and "...did not provoke the assault, and had at the time reasonable grounds to believe, and in good faith believed, that the deceased intended to take his life, or do him great bodily harm...was not obliged to retreat, nor to consider whether he could safely retreat, but was entitled to stand his ground."
In a Minnesota case, State v. Gardner (1905), where a man was acquitted for killing another man who attempted to kill him with a rifle, Judge Jaggard stated:
The doctrine of "retreat to the wall" had its origin [in Medieval England] before the general introduction of guns. Justice demands that its application have due regard to the general use of and to the type of firearms. It would be good sense for the law to require, in many cases, an attempt to escape from a hand to hand encounter with fists, clubs and even knives as a justification for killing in self-defense; while it would be rank folly to require [an attempt to escape] when experienced persons, armed with repeating rifles, face each other in an open space, removed from shelter, with intent to kill or cause great bodily harm.
Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. declared in Brown v. United States (256 U.S. 335, 343 (16 May 1921) a case that upheld the "no duty to retreat" maxim that "detached reflection cannot be demanded in the presence of an uplifted knife".

Many states have some form of Castle Doctrine or Stand Your Ground law. Alabama, Alaska, Arizona,California,] Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa], Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah,]West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming have adopted Castle Doctrine statutes, and other states (Iowa], Nebraska,[Virginia,[ and Washington) are currently considering "Stand Your Ground" laws of their own.
Some of the states that have passed or are considering "stand your ground" laws already implement "stand your ground" principles in theircase law. Indiana and Georgia, among other states, already had "stand your ground" case law and passed "stand your ground" statutes due to possible concerns of the case law being replaced by "duty to retreat" in later court rulings. Other states, including Washington, have "stand your ground" in their case law but have not adopted statutes; West Virginia had a long tradition of "stand your ground" in its case law[19] before codifying it as a statute in 2008. These states did not have civil immunity for self defense in their previous self defense statutes.

However, a person is justified in the use of deadly force and does not have a duty to retreat if:
(1) He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony; or
(2) Under those circumstances permitted pursuant to s. 776.013.
776.013 Home protection; use of deadly force; presumption of fear of death or great bodily harm.
(1) A person is presumed to have held a reasonable fear of imminent peril of death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another when using defensive force that is intended or likely to cause death or great bodily harm to another if:
(a) The person against whom the defensive force was used was in the process of unlawfully and forcefully entering, or had unlawfully and forcibly entered, a dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle, or if that person had removed or was attempting to remove another against that person’s will from the dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle; and

(b) The person or persons sought to be removed is a child or grandchild, or is otherwise in the lawful custody or under the lawful guardianship of, the person against whom the defensive force is used; or
(c) The person who uses defensive force is engaged in an unlawful activity or is using the dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle to further an unlawful activity; or
(d) The person against whom the defensive force is used is a law enforcement officer, as defined in s. 943.10(14), who enters or attempts to enter a dwelling, residence, or vehicle in the performance of his or her official duties and the officer identified himself or herself in accordance with any applicable law or the person using force knew or reasonably should have known that the person entering or attempting to enter was a law enforcement officer.
(3) A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.
(4) A person who unlawfully and by force enters or attempts to enter a person’s dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle is presumed to be doing so with the intent to commit an unlawful act involving force or violence.
(5) As used in this section, the term:
(a) “Dwelling” means a building or conveyance of any kind, including any attached porch, whether the building or conveyance is temporary or permanent, mobile or immobile, which has a roof over it, including a tent, and is designed to be occupied by people lodging therein at night.
(b) “Residence” means a dwelling in which a person resides either temporarily or permanently or is visiting as an invited guest.
(c) “Vehicle” means a conveyance of any kind, whether or not motorized, which is designed to transport people or property.

Walmart Meat Sucks

I will never buy Walmart meat again. The Walmart's Meat Departments  plain out suck. I have tried several different Walmart Meat Departments and I think all of them suck. The quality of food is just shitty.  Even their pre-packaged meat is bad. In fact every time I walk past the meat department it smells like rotted food. It just stinks.
I am writing this post because my wife and I got food poising after eating Walmart meat.  There food is  awful.  The trouble with Walmart meat is that they insist on adding "up to a 10% solution" to their meats. This is for people who are too stupid or too incompetent at cooking to realize that this ruins the meat. Meat that is supposed to be tender and beefy instead cooks like ham.It also taste like shit.
