I had a listing on Craigslist selling some Kenwood speakers when I got the Following message:
Thank for prompt response....I'm Mary and recently moved here on a job
transfer and have a particular need for it.My secretary will be
processing and mailing a certified draft which is generally acceptable
to cover the cost.The payment will be mail by UPS and it will be
delivered to your address two business day from receiving your
information.So i will need the details of whom & where to mail the
payment to..

(3).Cell #. . .
(4). Final Price. . .
I'll send my mover over for the pick up right only after the payment
as been delivered to your address.Kindly take off the post from the

After I said OK, Not thinking it was a scam. because I was only asking for $150.00
They sent me another message:
I have was just informed by the company secretary that the payment as been mailed out to your specified address couple of hours ago and it should be delivered within 2-3 days. However she mistakenly sent out my entire bi-weekly paycheck which is $1350. Several attempts have been made to retrieve the payment from the United Parcel Service but it as already been disperse by the courier .
The payment will be delivered to you shortly and on the advice from the Bank you should have the payment cashed and deduct your own money that would be the money for my purchase plus an extra $100 to offset the cost of your run around expenses while the rest should be refunded to me vie moneygram money transfer which is available in every Walmart or K-Mart store around you the same day so that i can coordinate the pick up promptly.You will then deduct the cost of my purchase plus an extra $100 to offset the cost of your run around expenses.

I received the check yesterday for $1500.00 Right away, I can tell it was a fake. There was no water seal or special security stamp. It appeared to be printed on plain paper. But to make sure. I called the bank that issued the check. They confirmed that it was a Fake Check. I then called the police to report it. But to my surprise. They did nothing. How ever I have some paybacks up my sleeve. So, I decided to play along. I ebailes marry Smith and told them I received the check.
The reply back
Am so glad the payment has been delivered. "Note" Do take the check to your Bank tomorrow morning and have it deposited for 24hrs for clarification before you wiring the rest of the funds to my mover via Money Gram Wednesday.
Do prompt me once you have it deposited for 24hrs,so that i can have my mover to plan ahead for the trip to pick up wednesday noon.

My plan is to take a Shit, then wipe me ass with some Fake money and Mail it back. I also have some other Plans being pretty tricky and Tech savoy. it would be awesome if they were to catch a virus that wipes out there whole computer.

It has been confirmed that m13drop@gmail.com is from Nigeria Africa. I made a tracker using Google Analytics in my last email that tracked him to the city of, Lagos, Nigeria, Africa. IP- 10.204.173.11
